How we approached it.
The porch frame, the stone chimney and the red brick plinth all had to stay untouched — that’s where most of the patience went. Everything else was taken back to bare blockwork and brought up to a smooth silicone finish.
- Full scaffold around the property — front, rear and gables
- Base coat with full reinforcing mesh on every elevation — corners doubled up
- Silicone topcoat in white — breathable, flexible, hairline cracks close themselves
- Crisp lines around the oak porch, stone chimney and brick plinth
- Site cleared and gravel raked back at the end of every day
